Welcome to Samata Pilates! By booking a class, purchasing a bundle, or becoming a member, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

SECTION 1 APPLIES TO ALL (unless stated otherwise)
This applies to all bookings including 1-2-1, pay as you go, private booking, monthly memberships (unless stated otherwise) and bundles.
You must be 18+ to attend any session.
All sessions must be pre-booked via our app or website.
LATENESS.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, you will not be admitted and the session will not be refunded or re-credited. This is for your safety and class continuity.
CANCELLATION POLICY.
24-hour notice required to cancel any session (classes, 1:1s, bundles, etc.).
Cancel at least 24 hours in advance to receive the session back as credit (valid for 60 days). Where less than 24 hours notice is provided, the credit will be lost. (Members get a membership perk: please check membership terms and conditions).
1:1 sessions may have a different cancellation window – your instructor will confirm.
If we need to cancel a class, we’ll notify you by email or SMS with at least 1 hours’ notice (unless due to emergency).
NO SHOW POLICY.
Missed two classes in 4 weeks without cancelling or contacting us?
→ You’ll be blocked from booking for 2 weeks.
→ Applies to all bookings (Members penalty varies: please check membership terms and conditions).
Grip Socks Required
Grip socks are mandatory for reformer classes.
Bare feet are not allowed.
Socks are available for purchase on the app.
Studio Etiquette
No food or drink in class, except water in sealed bottles.
No alcohol or drug use — you will be refused entry and no refund will be given.
We reserve the right to suspend or ban clients who violate studio rules or endanger others.
Bundles
Bundles must be paid in full upfront.
Sessions must be used within the stated expiry period – no extensions, transfers, or refunds.
Bundles are valid for the classes available at the time of purchase
Offers & Promotions
Offers are one-time use only, non-transferable and non-refundable.
They cannot be combined with other deals.
If misused, full pay-as-you-go rates will apply.
Offers may change or be withdrawn without notice.

Monthly Membership Terms and Conditions
Membership Agreement
• By signing up for the monthly membership at Samata Pilates, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined below. Membership grants you and only you access to the stated classes only. Memberships can not be shared with or transferred to anyone else.
Members photos must be added to your profile on the app/website.
Minimum term: 3 months.
After 3 months, your membership continues monthly until cancelled with 30 days’ written notice. Where notice is given part way through the month, the 30 days notice will start from the date the next membership month starts.
Early cancellation AFTER the first 3 months will incur a £25 admin fee.
Memberships cannot be cancelled in the first 3 months.

Bookings will pause if your account is in arrears.
• Membership type cannot be downgraded in the first 3 months.
Upgrades can be requested anytime. Any changes must be requested in writing by email (hello@samatapilates.co.uk) to Samata Pilates and will take effect from the next billing date. Any change will reset the 3-month term..
• It is the members responsibility to keep their payment and contact details up to date on their profile. Any changes can be updated on the app or by contacting Samata Pilates.
• It is the members responsibility to notify the studio of any changes to their physical fitness and ability to exercise safely.
Payments
Monthly fee is fixed and billed on the same date each month.
Failed payment? Your class access is suspended until resolved.
Missed days are not reimbursed or extended.
Membership Cancellations
After 3 months, cancel with 30 days’ notice via email. The 30 days begins from the first day of the next membership month.
For less than 30 days notice (after the first 3 months) a £25 fee applies.
No refunds for unused classes or partial months.
Credits do not roll over and cannot be transferred.
Freezing Your Membership
Freeze for up to 1 month per year (e.g. for travel or medical reasons).
Request in writing at least 30 days in advance.
For long-term illness/injury, a doctor’s note is required.
If paused during your minimum term, the term will be extended accordingly.
If you cancel during/after a pause, you’ll still owe:
the remainder of the 3-month term
30 days’ notice
£25 early cancellation fee.
Booking, Attendance & Strikes
Book all classes via the app/website.
If a class is fully booked, join the waitlist and you’ll be notified if a spot opens.
Cancel 24+ hours before class to retain your credit.
Cancel within 24 hours:
1 strike added.
2 strikes = 1-week class booking suspension.
No credits or time are reimbursed during this suspension.
PERK: Where notice is received of a cancellation in the 24 hours before the class and the studio is able to fill the place, the credit will be returned to the member.
• No-shows incur a £5 fee, auto-charged to your card without notice. A no-show is considered anyone who cannot/does not attend a class without giving giving notice prior to the class start time. Any notice received after the class start time will be subject to the £5 fee.
• Memberships are for the specified number of classes, any additional classes can be booked as and when required via the app/website at the price presented when booking.
Lateness & Class Minimums
Over 5 minutes late = no entry, no credit back.
Minimum bookings:
Reformer: 2 people
Mat: 3 people
We’ll notify you 1 hour before start time if we cancel due to low booking.
If bookings meet the minimum but attendees don’t show up, the class goes ahead.
Studio Conduct
Respect studio rules, personal space, and hygiene.
Phones must be on silent or off.
Disruptive behaviour may result in membership cancellation without refund.
Health & Responsibility
You confirm you’re medically fit for class participation.
Unsure? Consult your doctor first.
Inform your instructor of any injuries or conditions — every time you attend.
Classes are voluntary. You are responsible for your safety.
Don’t understand an exercise? Ask the instructor to clarify.
If we believe you are unfit to continue for any reason, we may stop your participation without refund.
Changes to Membership or Terms
• The studio reserves the right to modify the membership terms and conditions, fees, or services at any time. Members will be notified of any significant changes at least 30 days in advance.
• The studio reserves the right to modify the class timetable at any time.
It is your responsibility to keep your contact details up to date.
9. Personal Data and Privacy
• The studio collects and uses member information in accordance with its privacy policy. Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
• Members can request to access or update their personal data by contacting hello@samatapilates.co.uk.

Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a class, bundle, or membership, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. This agreement applies with every booking you make.
